Get Healthy & Win: Get Skinny Book, $25 to Amazon and a set of recipes!

As moms, we need all the help we can get. But “Getting Skinny” is about a lifestyle change of exercise and food.  It is about exercising as part of your weekly and daily routine. It is also about healthy cooking and changing bad habits.

What better way to start than to win a set recipes of your choice that go along with the Get Skinny Book. You can check out the recipe selections here. The titles sound great: Sweet & Sour Chicken, Santa Fe Chili, Turkey & Eggplant Panini…..that doesn’t sound like diet food!

Each one of these recipes will allow you to cook a healthy, organic, and nutritious meal for $15 or less. The cooking time is generally 20 minutes or less, and each recipe can serve 4 to 6 people. Every recipe also has its own nutrition label listed on the bottom along with recommendations on how to modify the recipe for individual tastes or the season if ingredients are not available. Enjoy!

And don’t forget to order the book to help you jump start your plan.

One lucky reader will win the trifecta – the Get Skinny book which walks you through how to put exercise and healthy habits easily into your game plan. $25 to Amazon to stock up on some kitchen tools (or whatever you need) and a set of these custom recipes the the author and trainer, Scott, has devised. It can be hard to get started – or even know how to cook yummy filling foods – and this is a great start.

I really enjoy chocolate and it’s easy for that to undo all the good you’ve done all day!

I suffer from chronic migraines, so my biggest challenge is finding ways to stay fit when I’m stuck in a cycle of not being able to be very active.
