I am a pizzaholic. I am a firm believer that it is the perfect food. I mean it is comforting and has all the basic food groups: grains, dairy, veggies and meat! So when I saw this book, I knew it was for our kitchen. My husband was excited too – as he gets burned out on the 2-3 types I make. He was excited for some pizza variety!
You can even see the kids eyes getting big – they are cheese only right now though. Maybe in a few years we can sneak some basil in.
The pizza Margherita is to die for. I think just getting fresh mozzarella makes all the difference.
I love that this book has a master recipe and the branches out to many things….pizza, flatbread, foccacia, and even desert pizza! Oh wait – did I mention breakfast pizza! I am in heaven. I also liked the sauce recipes….you can do so much more here. A nice bechemel sauce that you can also make more of and use for lasagna! I love this book and would recommend to anyone with a pizza love!
