I saw on their FB page an article about stretching. Just worked out this week w/out stretching & wondered if it was important. So I learned I'd better not do that again!

    My favorite tip is:
Strive to feel comfortable because you are fit and not comfortable because you are hiding in sweatpants. Don’t let the scale dictate your mood and don’t live your life in a pair of baggy sweatpants. Zip up those jeans once a week! Just think, there’s no hiding in skinny jeans.

My favorite fitness tip is from CHRIS FREYTAG'S WEEKLY TIP. She says that jeans also can give you a better assessment of how you are doing than your scale does sometimes. Head into your closet and find out how your jeans fit. Thank!

    Chris Freytag gives this Tip:

TIP: If you want your body to burn calories at the highest possible rate, even when you’re not exercising–sitting at home, working at your desk, even sleeping–you need to increase your resting metabolic rate. The surest way to do it? Build more muscle with strength training!

I need to stop thinking it is impossible to get in shape and healthy when chronically ill. I can still do strength training on the floor. Just takes some muscle building? I had forgotten this! Hubby I and have pact to work together and get in shape and eat better this winter so we dont sabbatage each other.
