I love vanilla – the way it smells, the way it tastes. It has to be one of my favorite things. And I am always running out of vanilla. I add it to everything – pancakes etc – for a little extra flavor. I have even added it to chicken marinade!
So I was more than happy to try Madagascar Bourbon Pure Vanilla Extract, no arm twisting here! It was by far some of the best vanilla I have used. And I saw that they sell it at my local Central Market – so I will have to get more soon! When I visited the website, I was also surprised to find such a wide array of other great extracts. Peppermint, different kinds of vanillas and sugars, rose water, orange blossom water, orange, lemon, coffee, chocolate, and almond extracts. Wow! That has my mouth watering. I have bookmarked this site so I remember all of that and for the recipes so I think out of the box. It also has a great section that tells you which vanilla to use for different types of recipes. (i.e. ice cream vs breads). Love it!
